The White Hart is listed in White's Devon Directory as being at 12 Alphington Street
and is first mentioned in the EFP on 12th January 1809 when the pub was opened by Thomas Boycott.
It was up for sale in 1823 and was "to let" as a Temperance Hotel according to the Exeter Flying Post on 12th March 1873. Stuart Callon Copyright ©2002 |
